What on earth Is happening?
What a privilege it is to know God in these difficult days, and yet what
a challenge we face to MAKE HIM KNOWN to our generation. We at Without
Walls are committed to deepen our relationship with the Lord so that the
overflow of His abundant goodness can affect our city and nation.
It is only when we have a NEW MINDSET to believe and receive the “things
freely given of God” (1 Cor 2:12) including the signs and wonders
that accompany the Kingdom of God, that our faith can rest in the power
of God. (1 Cor 2:4-5)
Maintaining a Kingdom mindset involves:-
1. The ability and confidence to hear and know God’s voice
2. Renewing the mind with Kingdom thought patterns
3. Focus on both a) what God is saying and b) what God is doing now
4. Draw spiritual strength from heaven’s resources (God’s presence and
the word proceeding from His heart)
5. Be properly positioned and aligned with God’s people
6. Be a builder in the spirit – move from blessing to building
Those with such a mindset are learning to work with the Spirit of God to
cause the reality of God’s kingdom to come on earth (Matt 6:10). This
always brings about a SHIFT in the heavenlies and a change in the
atmosphere. Remember that REVIVAL is predominately an atmosphere whereby
the power of the Lord is most likely to manifest, the heavens open and
hell is plundered in order for heaven to be populated as people are
changed and regions and transformed.
Revival is the normal state of the church, whereby the fiery presence of
God burns WITHIN US and the resulting ENCOUNTER releases an increase in
spiritual activity in and around us. Such supernatural encounters equip
us to enable others to encounter Him, because we now carry the life of
God’s power and glory. We at Without Walls desire to proclaim the gospel
not only in word but in power. As 1 Cor 4:20 says “the kingdom of God is
not in word but in power”. Jesus said in Matt 22:29 “You are wrong
because you know neither the scripture or God’s power”. He said this
because the word of God ought lead us to an experience with God. Every
truth goes beyond information only, to a revelation of the Fathers heart
for people and His desire for an ongoing supernatural relationship with
Himself.
Remember REVELATION when ACTIVATED (by faith) brings a DEMONSTRATION or
MANIFESTATION of God’s presence, power and purpose.
We are greatly encouraged:-
a) by the hunger and thirst of so many people
b) by the strength of the prevailing prayer
c) by the increase in the power and glory of God
d) by the number of new believers
e) by the variety if gifts/ministries developing
f) by the release of people into ministry
g) by the expansion of the leadership base (people of influence)
Of course there are many things still to happen in our lives and
ministries before we reach maximum fruitfulness, but we forget what lies
behind and press on to the prize before us (Phil 3:13) which is the
fullness of the measure of the stature of Christ (Eph 4:13).
